The Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Avenue, hosted a bike appraisal and sale on April 26 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Locals were able to bring in their used, unwanted bicycles to get appraised or to shop for a used bike themselves.

In addition to the bike sale, which has been a spring tradition at the Winnetka Community House for more than 25 years, the kids' rummage sale drew a crowd. Kids who wanted to get rid of their old toys, clothes, videos, etc., had a table to display their unwanted goods.
