Libertyville Days is the community's annual celebration of itself, and the first day of the 2008 festival was full of fun for all ages.

Despite the snow, the Deerfield Optimist Club pulled off its annual egg hunt March 22. Jewett Park was blanketed with snow so the hunt was moved into the Jewett Park Community Center.
