The Lake County Greek Festival returned August 15-17 after a two year absence with an important addition to the celebration: the new St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.

The Gardeners of Central Lake County Garden Walk for 2008 will be held June 21, but the club provided NeighborhoodCircle.com with a sneak preview June 17.

Libertyville Days is the community's annual celebration of itself, and the first day of the 2008 festival was full of fun for all ages.

Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville saw a massive influx of happy faces June 11, most of them fitting the "55 or better" age group.
