In memory of Cathy Lundstrom, Mary Jo Milligan and John Mindeilli, residents are invited to participate in a two-mile walk around Big Bear Lake to raise funds for the American Brain Tumor Association, based in Des Plaines. This will be the village's 10th annual walk for tumor research.

Sign-up is from 8:30 to 9:20 a.m. The suggested entry fee is $25 per person, and entries that are received by May 2 will receive a free T-shirt. For entry forms or information, contact Charlie or George AuBuchon at 847-367-4315 or www.vhwalk.com.
