The Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center celebrated the groundbreaking of a new administrative and clinical office building at 3010 Grand Avenue in Waukegan on October 1.

More than 120 people last week benefited from a Five Seasons Sports Club in Burr Ridge, as the site hosted the Athletes For Life Foundation and its mobile Cardiac Screening Facility.

The fall season is a great time to fill up on fiber. There are many great tasting, high fiber foods such as beans, apples, pears, and squash.

The Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center has scheduled 13 public flu clinics in geographically dispersed areas of Lake County from October 17 through November 17.
