More than 150 people were already waiting in line when the doors opened at the new Half Price Books Highland Park store Sept. 18. Many said they were already familiar with other stores in the Dallas-based chain, and wanted to be there when the 101st store opened.
A Fashion Week event sponsored by the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce combined art, food and fashion Sept. 10.
