Clovers rake in ribbons at County Fair
John Tracy leads Jenny into the ring. John and Jenny won Grand Champion July 22.

The Glenview Clovers started raking in ribbons July 22 during the junior show for dairy cattle at the Lake County Fair.

John Tracy with his heifer Jenny (Golden Oaks Redman 4009) took home Grand Champion. Hayley Johnson won first in junior showmanship and Stephanie Slivka won for senior showmanship.

The winning continued July 23 during the junior sheep show. The Clovers took the top four spots in the light market lamb class with Alexandra Balling taking first with her lamb.

"It's great how the [judges are] recognizing the quality of the cattle and how professional the kids are," said Clovers leader Julie Tracy.
