The Jirani Children's Choir is coming to the United States for the first time this summer.
The choir is a new mission begun by the Korean Methodist Church with the children of the Korogocho slum of Nairobi, Kenya. All proceeds raised will be used to help fund the creation of a music school in Nairobi, Kenya, and also defray the costs of the concert tour.
The 7 p.m. performance will be held at Christian Heritage Academy at 305 Waukegan Road, Northfield. Tickets are available in the Glenview United Methodist church office for a suggested donation of $20 for adults or $10 for children. Or click here to purchase.
