In celebration of the Smoke-Free Illinois Act and the strengthening of Highland Park’s Smoke Free Ordinance the Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center and the Healthy Highland Park Task Force collaborated on a media campaign. The campaign promoted anti-smoking messages organized by local high school students, including students from the Lake County chapter of the tobacco prevention youth group REALITY Illinois. Collected quotes were cross-stitched to form a colorful quilt displayed at First Bank of Highland Park.
