Each week, NeighborhoodCircle.com outlines the week's newest theatrical releases, links to reviews from Sun-Times critic Roger Ebert and NeighborhoodCircle.com writers and readers, and tells you where they're playing in the Lake County area.
And those links to reviews can include yours! That's right, we're eager to hear the opinions of all you film fans out there. You know how it is with opinions - everybody's got one. Share it in NeighborhoodCircle.com and we'll be sure to feature your review and add a link from this column as well.
But speaking of Roger Ebert, his long-running television program will be ending soon after an amazing 33 years on the air. You can read his thoughts on the matter here.
On July 25, don't miss "Rock 'n' Roll Movie Night" outdoors at the Lake County Discovery Museum where they'll be showing School of Rock under the stars.
And don't forget the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival on July 26 at Ryerson Woods.
The Lake Bluff Public Library Monday Night at the Movies presentation for July 28 will be Reservation Road.
On August 1, Apollo 13 will be screened on the Lake Forest College campus as part of the Lake Forest Day celebration. Go to lakeforestday.com for more information.
The Laschen Community Center in Vernon Hills will hold a Digital Movie Camp for kids August 4-15.
August 8 will be "Flick 'n Float Movie Night" at Hidden Creek AquaPark in Highland Park, when they'll be showing Shrek the Third.
August 8 also marks the next meeting of Carlos & Debbie's Dinner & Film Club. They'll be serving a great meal and showing a great movie: the original The Three Musketeers.
